#ParisOlympics: Snoop Dogg reportedly being paid US$500k daily to promote Paris Olympics
PARIS, France – US rapper Snoop Dogg is reportedly earning a whopping US$500,000 (approximately JM$ 78 million) per day for his Olympic appearances at the 2024 games in Paris, France.
The rapper, who has some 88 million followers on Instagram and close to 21 million on X, formerly known as Twitter, is an Olympic correspondent and has been making the rounds in France as he promotes the summer games in the host country.
According to several reports from numerous international media outlets, including the business-based Economic Times, for the full 17 days of the Olympics, the rapper’s earnings could exceed US$8.5 million (approximately JM$ 1.3 billion).
Since the start of the Paris Games, Snoop Dogg has made several appearances at numerous events including basketball games, track and field events and swimming events. He has also been spotted with several other celebrities in France including actress Taraji P . Henson, British Formula One racecar driver, Lewis Hamilton and WNBA star, A’Ja Wilson.
