Six vehicles stolen at St Mary MI Come From concert – police
ST MARY, Jamaica – While patrons enjoyed the return of the St Mary MI Come From stage show at Gray’s Inn in Annotto Bay, St Mary on Tuesday morning, six motor vehicles were stolen from the venue, according to the police.
Investigating officer Constable Marlon Garriques said the vehicles were stolen outside of the designated parking space between 1 am and 5 am.
“The vehicles were parked along the Gray’s Inn main road close to the venue when the incident occurred,” Garriques told Observer Online.
He said the venue was well manned by the security forces who were present.
“I don’t want to say much but the criminals were smart in what they were doing,” Garriques said.
The stolen motor vehicles reportedly comprised a Toyota Mark X, a Nissan Sylphy, two white Toyota Voxy buses, a Honda fit and a Toyota Wish.
According to Garriques, one of the buses had items of jewelry, a passport and $7,000 in cash inside it.
It is reported that one of the vehicles was recovered on Tuesday morning in St Catherine. No arrest was made.
