JDF soldier found dead on Palisadoes main road

KINGSTON, Jamaica — A Jamaica Defence Force (JDF) soldier was found dead on the Palisadoes main road in Kingston on Tuesday morning.

Unconfirmed reports are that the soldier committed suicide. His body was discovered in a parked military Prado sometime in the morning, with his uniform soaked in what appeared to be blood.

A gun was in the deceased’s lap.

His identity has not been confirmed.
