LAST Thursday (July 25) Grace Foods, a subsidiary of GraceKennedy Group, with much excitement launched its inaugural Grace Food Festival at an event held on the terrace of its Harbour Street headquarters in downtown Kingston.
The festival, scheduled to be held on August 24 at Hope Gardens in Kingston, seeks to celebrate Grace’s rich history — which transcends more than a century— as well as its deep-rooted connection to Jamaica and its “commitment to bringing people and families together through the joy of food”.
“For more than 102 years Grace has been more than just a brand — we’ve been a part of the fabric of Jamaican life. This festival represents a new era for Grace Foods as we continue on our mission of creating memorable moments by connecting families for life through food,” CEO of GK Foods–Domestic Frank James told those gathered for the launch.
At the recent event attended by a large number of guests, the company lauded the culture and talents of Jamaicans as it feted participants with much food, fun and entertainment.
Business Social was on the terrace and captured these moments.
