St Catherine gardener accused of stabbing man during argument over money
ST CATHERINE, Jamaica— A gardener has been charged with the stabbing and injuring of a man during an argument over money in West Prospect, Bog Walk in St Catherine on Saturday, July 20.
Charged is 44-year-old Jason Hines of a West Prospect address in the parish. He is charged with aggravated assault and wounding with intent.
Reports from the Bog Walk Police are that about 6:30 pm, a man approached Hines and asked about money that was owed to him. During the conversation, Hines allegedly brandished a knife and stabbed the man. The man was assisted to the hospital where he was admitted.
Hines was later accosted by citizens and handed over to the police.
He was charged on Tuesday, July 23.
Hines is scheduled to appear in the St Catherine Parish Court on Wednesday, July 31.
