Festival Night 1 of Reggae Sumfest featured an impressive line-up of top dancehall acts as well as a mesmerising performance by Grammy Award-winning artiste Lauryn Hill that lifted the entertainment decibel as she shared the stage with her sons YG and Zion Marley.
Fashion, skybox activations with their own vibes from music to food and games, as well as the lure of Jamaican music culture were all on show last Friday inside the Catherine Hall Entertainment Centre in Montego Bay.
Hitmakers, including Dexta Daps, 450, Teejay and Aidonia, delivered first-rate performances with the young guns Kaka High Flames, Armanii and Malie Donn in lockstep. The show closed with an energetic performance from firebrand reggae artiste Capleton that moved the almost capacity crowd.
