Exco Levi is on Top of the Moon
Canada-based reggae artiste Exco Levi, who is originally from Manchester, has taken over the #1 spot on the Rebel Vibez Top Ten Canadian Reggae chart with Top of the Moon.
The track is featured on his latest album Born to Be Free which was released in March.
The album was produced by Donovan Germain for Penthouse Music.
Exco Levi, a multi-JUNO award winner (he has won the award 5 times and has secured 11 nominations to date), moved to Canada in 2005, and started his recording career in 2007, releasing the single O Canada that year.
Still on the Canadian Reggae chart, Derailed by Chester Miller, featuring Teacha Dee, enters at #9, while Reggae Music Still Deh Yah by Legato is new at #10.
Pick up the Pieces by Jamaican-born reggae singer Steele is #4, while the female duo Blk Orchid is at #7 with How Long.
Moving to the Billboard Reggae Albums chart, Legend by Bob Marley and the Wailers hold steady at #1 for 236 non-consecutive weeks, while Shaggy moves back into familiar territory at #2 with Best of Shaggy: The Boombastic Collection.
World on Fire and Set in Stone by Stick Figure are #3 and #4, while Dutty Classics Collection by Sean Paul, which has been certified gold in the UK by the British Phonographic Industry, falls to #5.
Wisdom by Stick Figure is steady at #6, while Sean Paul occupies the #7 position with
Dutty Rock.
UB45 by UB40 dips to #8, while Endless Summer by The Elovaters, which peaked at #8, re-enters at #9.
Greatest Hits by UB40 slips one place down to #10.
On Billboard’s Global 200 Excluding US chart, Santa by Rvssian featuring Rauw Alejandro and Ayra Starr falls from #44 to #49. On the Global 200 it tumbles from 57 to 75.
Santa dips from #9 to #10 on Hot Latin Songs, while backtracking from #16 to #17 on Latin Streaming Songs.
Over on Billboard’s Latin Airplay chart, Santa brings the presents at #25 for a second week, while on Latin Rhythm Airplay it remains at #9.
Jump by Tyla featuring Gunna and Skillibeng rises on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay, moving from #36 to #34, while on Hot R&B Songs, it falls from #7 to #8.
On Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay, Jump accelerates from #24 to #22, while on Rhythmic Top 40 it creeps up from #17 to #16.
Ain’t Too Proud to Beg by Hezron and Beenie Man spends a 4th week at #1 on the Foundation Radio Network (New York) Reggae chart.
A cover of Bread’s Anything I Own by Sleepy Wonder enters at #29, while Worthy by Kenya Morris is new at #30.
Empress Uneek takes over the #1 spot on the South Florida Reggae chart with I Miss You, while Sophia Brown and Turbulence debut at #23 with
