Campion College tops 2024 academic ranking
KINGSTON, Jamaica— Campion College has topped Educate Jamaica’s High School Academic Rankings for 2024, moving one point from its second place spot last year.
The co-ed school scored an impressive 100 per centof all students passing five subjects or more, including Math and English, at Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC).
This year’s ranking shows that Campion College increased by 2.6 per cent after scoring 97.5 per cent in 2023.
Immaculate Conception High School dropped to second place this year with 99.18 per cent but still showed an increase of 0.4 per cent on last year’s performance.
St Andrew High School for Girls maintained its third place ranking with 93 per cent, while Ardenne High School copped the fourth place spot with 91 per cent, a one per cent increase from 2023.
Wolmer’s Boys’ School is ranked fifth place with 90 per cent, earning a 12.5 per cent increase on last year’s performance. It is also the only all-boys institution ranked in the top 10 of the list.
The other schools rounding out the top 10 spots are Hampton School (6th), Montego Bay High School for Girls (7th), Glenmuir High School (8th) Manning’s School (9th) and St Hilda’s High School (10th).
