Seven changes to Under-20 Boyz for game against Costa Rica
KINGSTON, Jamaica— The coaching staff has made seven changes to the Jamaican men’s Under-20 team who are set to play Costa Rica in their crucial Concacaf Championships Group A game to be played at the Miguel Aleman Valdez Stadium in Celaya, Guanajuato, Mexico on Monday.
Jamaica sits at the foot of the four- team group after being battered 9-0 by leaders USA in their opening game played at the same venue on Friday after Costa Rica and Cuba had played out a 1-1 draw.
Team captain Adrian Reid, Nashon Bolt, Javin Williams and Makai Welch have retained their place in the starting team for the game they need to win if they are to maintain any hopes of advancing past the first round.
Joshua Grant takes over in goal ahead of Tawayne Lynch, while Avery Grange, Christopher Ainsworth, Fabian Reynolds, Dunsting Cohen, Orane Watson and Nashordo Gibbs have gotten the nod to start.
