Police sergeant killed by accused in reported murder suicide
KINSTON, Jamaica— A police sergeant was shot and killed moments ago on the compound of the Half-Way-Tree police station in St Andrew.

A reliable police source told Observer Online that the sergeant was escorting an accused when the man got hold of another policeman’s firearm.
“Somebody was being escorted by one police. That person grabbed another policeman’s firearm, shot and killed the police who was escorting him, then killed himself,” the source said.
