Adapting, changing leading
ON July 7, Immaculate Conception High School (ICHS) celebrated its 165th graduation ceremony with Audrey Tugwell Henry, president and CEO of Scotiabank, delivering the keynote address. Held at Merl Grove High School, the event, themed ‘Adapting, Changing, Leading 165 Years and Simply Immaculate’, marked a significant milestone for the graduates.
In her address, Tugwell Henry praised the graduates and the institution.
“This theme beautifully captures the essence of this remarkable institution, which has, for 165 years, been a beacon of excellence, integrity, and resilience and a testament to the awesome things that this little island is capable of producing,” she said. “ICHS has always been a symbol of resilience and adaptability. For 165 years, Immaculate Conception High School has been a leader in education, producing women who have gone on to lead in various fields. The education and experiences you have gained here have equipped you with the tools you need to navigate the complexities of the world and to make a most meaningful impact.”
