Gas prices up $1.97, $1.95 diesel up $1.35
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see an increase at the pumps in the price of gasoline effective Thursday, July 11, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
With an increase of $1.97, 90-octane will be sold for $186.98 per litre, while 87-octane will be sold for $178.97 per litre after an increase of $1.95.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $179.11 per litre after an increase of $1.35 and ultra-low sulphur diesel will be sold for $187.22 per litre up by $1.45.
Kerosene increased by $2.38 and will be sold for $179.18 per litre.
Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $73.65 per litre up by $0.40 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $81.22 per litre after an increase of $0.70.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-up to these prices.
