Reggae Sumfest’s All White set to deliver perfect blend of music, class and fashion
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Draped in luxury and defined by a dress code that drives patrons to don their best, Reggae Sumfest’s premium All White event is back. Set to take over Pier One in Montego Bay, St James once again, this highly anticipated event is known for delivering top-class music and an unforgettable experience.
With an enviable lineup of some of Jamaica’s most talented disc jockeys, the All White party will set the stage for Festival Nights One and Two.
The All White party is set for Tuesday, July 16. The event kicks off at 7 pm.
Robert Russell, a director and founder of Reggae Sumfest, emphasised the event’s significance.
“It is one of the biggest, most anticipated events on the festival’s lineup for over 30 years and it is held at one of the most iconic entertainment centres in Montego Bay, which is Pier One,” he said. “People can expect the best in music, in food and drink and entertainment with nice people all in white.”
Russell went on to say that the All White event continues to deliver world-class entertainment outside of Sumfest’s weekend Festival Nights 1 and 2.
DJ Narity, a veteran at the All White consoles, shared his excitement
“I think the theme and the location have a big role in the fact that All White is one of the more popular events on the Sumfest lineup. We’re usually able to cover genres of music that aren’t necessarily going to be represented at other events but curated in such a way that the Sumfest performers are highlighted. Also, the DJ lineup is always a great group of professionals who play well together with the sole purpose of making sure the patrons dance all night,” Narity said.
He added: “I think this one will be either my 3rd or 4th All White event and it is always a fun experience – we (the DJs) get to help welcome patrons to the Sumfest experience and set the pace for the week’s activities.”
DJ Courtney, also set to entertain on July 16, noted: “I have done three All White events, and they’ve grown year by year with patrons enjoying themselves. It’s more of an international audience with diverse tastes in music, and I consider myself an international DJ with a proven track record, so I’m coming to entertain as usual.”
ZJ Liquid, making his debut at the All White event, expressed his enthusiasm: “Patrons can look forward to an entertaining night with not just the music but the vibe. I’m coming to interact with the people, read the crowd, and deliver that ‘Liquid’ experience. Big up to Sumfest for reaching out and asking me to be a part of All White at Pier One. Mi always hear about it, and I’m going to put my record on it. Pier One a mi place and the lineup always speaks volumes.”
With the promise of top-tier entertainment, a stunning venue, and a night filled with dancing and revelry, the Appleton Estate All White party is poised to be one of the highlights of Reggae Sumfest 2024, setting a high bar for the festival events to follow.
