WATCH: Better to be prepared than sorry say shoppers stocking up for Beryl

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Shoppers who turned out in their numbers across the island on Tuesday said it is better to be prepared than sorry as they stocked up on essential items in preparation for Hurricane Beryl.

Hurricane Beryl, a category four storm is expected to make landfall in Jamaica on Wednesday, bringing with it catastrophic winds and heavy rainfall.

Shoppers at Megamart and Pricemart in Kingston were seen filling their trolleys as they expressed to Observer Online that they were leaving nothing to chance with a hurricane as powerful as Beryl.
