#NationalTrials: Thomas-Dodd wins ninth shot put title

KINGSTON, Jamaica — National record holder and former Commonwealth Games champion Danniel Thomas-Dodd threw a season’s best 19.32m to win her ninth national championships on Saturday’s third day of the Jamaica Athletics Administrative Association (JAAA) championships at the National Stadium.

Thomas-Dodd, who will compete at her third Olympic Games, beat the 19.08m she threw in China in late April.

Lloydricia Cameron was second with 17.62m and Daniel Sloley was third with 15.05m.
