Hezron drops Natural Woman vid
On the heels of the success release of the single Natural Woman, which commemorated International Women’s Day 2024, Hezron has released a musical video that drives home his message.
Natural Woman, is decribed as a tribute to the strong women in Hezron’s life, including his wife and mother, female friends and colleagues, and women all over the world who struggle for equality in education, health care, and the workplace.
This new video showcases features of women in some of the most scenic and visually appealing locations across the island of Jamaica.
“The battle scars of her stretch marks are so commendable, her beauty is beyond the tangible,” sings Hezron on Natural Woman,” a reaffirmation of the special characteristics and the mystical powers of women. “Without them,” said Hezron, “humanity wouldn’t exist because there wouldn’t be wombs to conceive life. And being the kind of artist that I am, I was compelled to use my voice to defend femininity.”
Natural Woman said the artists, “offers a reassertion of the extraordinary value of our women. We have to make sure that we don’t stray from that and it’s important that reggae express this message”.
The track is written by Patricia Meschino and Stacy-Lee Thompson, and produced by Junior Tads exclusively for Tad’s Records.
