Fourth accused in major gun find freed
KINGSTON, Jamaica – A fourth person charged in relation to a major gun bust at a warehouse in Kingston in 2022 was freed Monday.
Jermaine Baker, a 36-year-old chef of Fort Lauderdale in Florida, walked free after a not guilty verdict was handed down at the Gun Court in downtown Kingston.
Blake had been charged with illegal importation of firearms and ammunition.

He was among four people charged in relation to the seizure of 18 handguns, three rifles and a large cache of ammunition at a freight in Kingston on March 4, 2022, after members of the Jamaica Customs Agency discovered anomalies.
Also charged were 52-year-old St Elizabeth resident Godfrey Martin, otherwise called ‘Rev’, who was the suspected mastermind, his girlfriend Sherilyn McLean, and 42-year-old Dervan Brown, a construction worker of Bronx, New York.
Martin, McLean and Brown were earlier freed of conspiracy to illegally import firearms and ammunition.
