UPDATE: Bus driver killed in Font Hill crash identified
ST ELIZABETH, Jamaica— Police have identified the bus driver who succumbed to injuries he sustained in a crash on the Font Hill main road near the St Elizabeth/ Westmoreland border on Thursday.
Police named the victim as Junior Ramsey, a resident of Fort William district in Westmoreland.
Head of the St Elizabeth police Superintendent Coleridge Minto said the crash happened about 4:00 am and involved a minibus.

Thirteen passengers who were aboard the bus were injured in the accident.
“This motor vehicle was travelling in an easterly direction heading towards Black River, it is reported that the driver lost control of the vehicle which resulted in it overturning several times,” said Minto.
He said the driver and the injured passengers were taken to hospital where Ramsey was pronounced dead.
“A female passenger is reported to be seriously injured and is undergoing surgery,” Minto said.
The police chief is urging motorists to exercise caution.
“The Font Hill is one of the corridors which we continue to appeal to motorists to use with caution. We have had a number of serious accidents along this road. The investigation is ongoing at this time,” said Minto.
