Norbrook Equity Partners joins forces with Project STAR to foster nation building
KINGSTON, Jamaica – Norbrook Equity Partners has joined forces with Project STAR, a move the collaborators have expressed is dedicated to bringing about positive social transformation in Jamaica.
According to a news release issued on Tuesday, the partnership is valued at J$3 million.
Oshane Thoms, group marketing director at Norbrook Equity Partners said the partnership is a significant step towards nation-building, aligning with the companies’ shared commitment to creating “meaningful change in people’s lives and communities.”
“We are indeed delighted to have partnered with Project STAR, an initiative that directly improves the lives of Jamaicans who require, among other things, social, educational, and financial investments to bring about social transformation in their lives,” Thoms said. “We are excited about the outcome of this partnership.”
Saffrey Brown, director of Project STAR, also welcomed the collaboration. She said the partnership between Norbrook Equity Partners and Project STAR is expected to have a profound impact, bringing much-needed assistance and opportunities to those who require it the most.
“This collaboration allows us to unite our efforts, and the anticipated results will not only benefit the immediate recipients but also contribute to the broader goal of nation-building,” she said.
Thoms said Norbrook Equity Partners is eager to see the positive changes that will emerge from this partnership. He said the company’s commitment to nation-building through initiatives like Project STAR underscores their dedication to making a lasting difference in Jamaica.
