South Africa bat first against Bangladesh at T20 World Cup
NEW YORK, United States (AFP)— South Africa opted to bat first in their T20 World Cup clash against Bangladesh as the only two undefeated teams in Group D met on Monday.
The Proteas, fresh from a tense four-wicket win over the Netherlands on Saturday at the same Nassau County International Cricket Stadium, were unchanged.
South Africa sit top of their pool with four points having also seen off Sri Lanka.
Bangladesh, who defeated Sri Lanka by two wickets in their only game so far, make one change with Soumya Sarkar, who was out for nought in that game, replaced by Jaker Ali.
