A ‘tree-mendous’ adventure at Bambuza
TUCKED away on Jamaica’s west coast, Bambuza is a hidden gem waiting to be explored.
Just 10 miles from Green Island, Hanover, this adventure park offers a mix of fun, relaxation, and nature.
Recently, team members of The Edge 105 FM’s The Ron Muschette Morning Show visited Bambuza and were bowled over by the adventure.
The scenic route, marked with historic road signs, gave rise to anticipation as the team members approached their destination.
On arrival they were greeted by chickens mixing freely with donkeys and horses and what is believed to be the largest Jamaican flag in the world.
Bambuza is home to Toby, the friendly goat, and Jill, the playful donkey, who enjoy mingling with the chickens. These animals add to the park’s charm and make it a truly special place.
The team’s adventure began with a thrilling zip line ride soaring above the lush landscape and feeling the rush of the wind.
Next, they explored the countryside on horseback, followed by an exciting ATV ride through muddy terrain. The thrill of the ride, the roar of the engines, and the splash of the mud added to the fun.
After these activities the team enjoyed the refreshing waterfall, a perfect spot to relax. The cool water and peaceful surroundings offered a welcome break. Once they had worked up an appetite they enjoyed a delicious curry crab feast that left them wanting more.
“Bambuza is the place to be for adventure, where the great outdoors meets nature,” declared Muschette as he pointed out that, “Whether you’re a thrill-seeker or looking for a unique getaway, Bambuza has something for everyone.”
