Trainer Parsard confident Run Julie Run will win 1000 Guineas on Saturday
Trainer Ian Parsard says that Run Julie Run, the ante-post favourite for Saturday’s 1000 Guineas, is in good nick and is ready and raring to go.
Parsard, who is seeking his second success in the one-mile Classic event for three-year-old fillies, had previously won the 1000 in 2021 with his talented filly She’s A Wonder.
“The number seven draw is not an issue for us.
Run Julie Run is in the middle of the 12 starters, which is ideal. I have no problems with her draw position,” said Parsard as it relates to her preparation for the one-mile event. Parsard added that he is confident that she will put on an excellent performance on Saturday.
“She [Run Julie Run] came out of The Portmore without any problems. She has since gone through her preparation routine without any fuss,” he said. “
Run Julie Run had her last gallop over last weekend, which went according to plan. At this stage, Run Julie Run is fit and proper for the 1000 Guineas,” Parsard added.
