‘Never brunched like this before’
Central Toast to ignite music, taste buds
Back again on the social calendar is Central Toast.
Scheduled for the Kingston Waterfront on Ocean Boulevard, Central Toast, according to organiser Richard Pusey, has attracted a loyal following since its inception almost five years ago.
“Central Toast started from very humble beginnings on the porch of a restaurant on Molynes Road. We have outgrown a number of venues over the period…” Pusey shared in an interview with the Jamaica Observer’s Splash on Wednesday.
He added: “We always strive to deliver the best party experience. We made the shift from a breakfast party to a brunch to cater to the needs of our patrons. At Central Brunch, you have never brunched like this before.”
Pusey first made his name as a sound system selector several years ago. He has been a part of Nemesis and Kingston All Stars.
Today, he has ventured into the food business; a passion he developed through the years.
A certified Level III chef, Pusey and his team will whet the appetites of patrons at this Sunday’s staging of the Central Toast brunch.
Several well-known DJs are on the line-up to ensure that patrons enjoy the musical pot pourri while they brunch on local and international cuisine. They include the in-demand DJ Banka, Javy Supreme, Little Richie, Johny Kool, Area Code 876, and Rockwildaz Sound.
Said Pusey: “Patrons can expect the best brunch experience complete with music from the best DJs in the business, and delicious food at a very beautiful venue overlooking the Kingston Harbour.”
