Zimbabwe’s crisis
Dear Editor,
As I write this letter Zimbabwe is facing an unprecedented crisis that requires immediate attention and action.
Extreme poverty, corruption, and mismanagement have ravaged our nation, leaving millions suffering. Billions of dollars are lost annually to looting and corruption, while our educational system crumbles because of poor facilities, underpaid teachers, and high failure rates.
The consequences are stark: Millions are forced to migrate, hyperinflation has decimated our economy, and our health-care system is in shambles. The lack of public transport, abuse of public funds, and 89 per cent unemployment rate have created a perfect storm of despair.
Furthermore, the decay of our infrastructure, lack of a soccer stadium, and rampant human rights abuses have stripped us of our dignity.
The heartless ruling party, Zimbabwe African National Union- Patriotic Front (Zanu PF), has failed to address these issues, and it is time for a change. The clueless and careless Government must go and new leadership must prioritise the welfare of our citizens.
