Flippa Moggela drops new single ‘We a Di Man’
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Dancehall artiste Flippa Moggela otherwise known as Flippa Mafia is making it clear that he is still the “Flossing King” in his new single entitled “We A Di Man”.
The flamboyant deejay who is known for hits such as Dem Yah, My House and Hear Me Hear But Me Nuh Care says he has matured and is focused on his music and his family.
“I have grown as a man, a father, an artiste and as a businessman. However, I am still the flossing king and a true entertainer as such the fans can expect Flippa Moggela in his authentic state musically,” he shared in an interview with Observer Online.
According to Flippa Moggela, many of the new names in dancehall have been using his style in various ways, however, 1majority have not given him the credit he deserves.
“The trap lifestyle is really the flossing king’s lifestyle so even if the new youths dem don’t want to admit it I know they drew inspiration from me. However, right now the Flossing King is ready to lock down the place again with music,” he reasoned.
Almost a year ago, Flippa Moggela was released from a halfway house in South Jersey after being paroled in October 2022. The 44-year-old whose given name is Andrew Davis, was found guilty of first-degree distribution of cocaine, second-degree money laundering, and second-degree conspiracy in the Camden Superior Court in New Jersey, after a three-year trial. He was however released from prison in October 2022.
