UPDATE: Gleaner journalist identified as man killed last night
KINGSTON, Jamaica— The man who was gunned down Tuesday night on Spanish Town Road has been identified as journalist Job Nelson.
Nelson was employed at the Jamaica Gleaner.
According to reports, Nelson was shot in the chest by attackers and while attempting to drive himself to the hospital, he crashed his vehicle in Collie Smith Drive, Trench Town.

Police, who were initially responding to reports of a motor vehicle accident in Collie Smith Drive, found blood stains in a white Honda Aria.
Witnesses informed the police that a man had been injured and transported to the hospital by residents.
Nelson died while receiving medical treatment.
