“You may be wondering what the prime minister is doing at a spa opening. A part of my duty and responsibility is to acknowledge and support those who have made the investment, those who continue to take the risk in the economy, and those who continue to innovate, and Garth and Kimisha [Walker] are wholly representative of that, and I am here, like all of you, to celebrate them, to offer our support,” said Prime Minister Andrew Holness at the official opening of the Adam & Eve Day Spa on Wednesday, May 15.
It was a déjà vu moment for the Page 2 team, who got exclusive access to the soft opening of the 10,000-square foot, ultra-mod building at 56 Old Hope Road in 2020. Four years later, and pandemic woes behind them, the 45-member-strong team and their principals, the Walkers, reign supreme as owners of one of the leading stand-alone spas in the Caribbean.
