Two killed in Westmoreland crash
WESTMORELAND, Jamaica – A 14-year-old student is said to be among two persons dead after two motorcars, a Toyota Voxy and a Toyota Corolla, collided on the Little London main road in Westmoreland on Friday night.
The identities of the deceased are not yet known.
However, Observer Online understands that one of the deceased men is said to be an employee of a popular café in the resort town of Negril, in the parish.
A video of the accident obtained by our news team shows firefighters working tirelessly to remove an occupant from one of the vehicles.
It brings to four the number of persons killed in the parish in less than 72 hours as a result of a crash.
On Thursday, two men died after the motorcycle they were travelling on collided in the rear of a motorcar.
The men, who police identified as 28-year-old Calvin Palmer of Causeway District in Grange Hill, in the parish, and 30-year-old Adrian Tomlison of Salmon at Top Lincoln also in Grange Hill, were both flung from the bike and were run over by a truck.
Both men died on the scene.
