“We have been opening a lot of stores across the region, but what you are going to see here is nothing comparable to what we’ve done [before]. This is the best Kohler Signature Store that we have in Latin America and the Caribbean. The store is beautiful. Congratulations to the Handal family and all the people that were involved in designing this,” said Kohler Director – LatAm Kitchen & Bath Group Roberto Martínez.
Martinez was on The Rock last Thursday for the unveiling of the Kohler Signature Store by Tile City & Home Centre (TC&HC). The reimagined showroom at 114 Constant Spring Road, opened to much fanfare with Minister of Tourism Edmund Bartlett joining Tile City & Home Centre Director Victor Handal for the official ribbon-cutting.
And while the state-of-the-art design has afforded the TC&HC team bragging rights, it’s the use of local talents that makes them proudest. “One of the key things that I am proudest about what you are about to see tonight is the local talent on showcase,” said TC&HC director Victor Handal.
The showroom featured designs from a female ensemble that included designers Joelle Smith, Karina Matalon, Rochelle Thwaites, Vanessa Paisley-Clare, and mural artist Deon Green.
