Digicel Group overcame NCB 89-80 in the first leg, while Spectrum Enterprise won controversially 68-60 against CIB in the first leg, prompting organisers to intervene.
According to the regulations, a win for Digicel Group will see them advancing to the grand finale; however, a loss will result in a 30-minute overtime phase, with the victors advancing to the final.
With the game between Spectrum Enterprise and CIB considered as a tie, the winner will advance straight to the final.
It was smooth sailing for hosts Digicel Group against NCB at 14 Ocean Boulevard, downtown Kingston, as they dominated the game from start to finish. Digicel Group ended the first half with a lead of 48-37 and closed out the game with a nine-point win margin.
Digicel Group will travel to the Wellness Centre at 13-15 Phoenix Avenue for their return leg against NCB.
