Two injured in collision on Washington Boulevard
KINGSTON, Jamaica— Two people were rushed to hospital following a two-vehicle collision on Washington Boulevard, in the vicinity of Weymouth Drive and Cookeville Gardens in St Andrew Wednesday morning.
The identities of the injured have not been ascertained.
Preliminary reports indicate that the accident, which occurred sometime before 8 am, destroyed a light post resulting in a power outage in the area.

There are also reports of an oil spill, which firemen are currently on scene cleaning up.
The collision has caused a pile-up of traffic going west, in the direction of Spanish Town, St Catherine.
