Robert Morgan resigns as JLP’s PR head
Clarendon North Central Member of Parliament Robert Morgan resigned on Sunday as the ruling Jamaica Labour Party’s (JLP) public relations chairman.
Morgan confirmed his resignation on X following reports that it was announced at a meeting of the party’s Central Executive at the JLP headquarters on Belmont Road in St Andrew.
As the minister responsible for information, Morgan came under fire recently for his response to queries regarding the controversial public letter of reprimand issued by House Speaker Juliet Holness to former parliamentary clerk Valrie Curtis.
