Britany Anderson runs first 100m hurdles race since 2022
KINGSTON, Jamaica — National record holder and World Championship silver medallist Britany Anderson ran 13.23 seconds to win a 100m hurdles race at the X Athletic Elite Meeting at Arena Civica in Milan, Italy on Saturday.
Anderson was running her first 100m hurdles race since 2022 after suffering a serious season-ending injury early last year.
Anderson, who ran and broke the meeting record of 13.75 seconds set in 2022 by Erica Maccherone of Italy, is based in Italy where she trains with former Olympic Games and World Champion Omar McLeod.
Anderson ran a ‘flat’ 60m race during the indoor season, clocking 7.46 seconds at the ISTAF Berlin Indoor at the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Berlin in late February.
