Body believed to be of homeless man found with gunshot wounds in Spanish Town
ST CATHERINE, Jamaica – The body of a man was found with gunshot wounds and one of its eyes missing at Tawes Meadows in Spanish Town, St Catherine on Saturday morning.
The deceased, who up to publication time was still unidentified, is believed to be a homeless man known as ‘Canadian’.
Reports indicate that around 11:40 am, residents stumbled upon the body and alerted the police. On arrival, lawmen saw the body lying on its back in bushes.
The left eye was missing, and it had a gunshot wound to the head. The body is of a dark complexion, 5ft 7″ long, unkempt hair and appeared to be in its 50s.
It was clad in a black shirt with bleached spots, blue jeans shorts, black socks, black shoes, white, black and red cross bag, and had a brown bag on its back.
