Corinaldi Avenue start defence of VMBS U13 football title
Corinaldi Avenue Primary will start the defence of the VMBS Under-13 football title today when they face Glendevon Primary in the opening game of the season in a double-header at Wespow Park, set to kick off at 10:30 am.
Twenty-five schools, both primary and prep schools, are down to take part in the competition set to end in early June and will see three schools returning — Glendevon Primary, Cambridge Primary, and John’s Hall Primary, after varying periods of sitting out.
In the second game, last year’s runners-up Flanker Primary will face many-time champions Granville Primary.
The teams have been separated into four groups with the top two teams advancing to the quarter-finals.
