Odeen Edwards settling nicely in Canada
Odeen Edwards, who recently relocated to Canada to ply his craft, says he is settling in beautifully at the Rocky Mountain racetrack in Alberta. The race meet kicks off in May.
Edwards now follows in the footsteps of his compatriots Dane Nelson, Omar Walker, Shane Ellis, Dane Dawkins, Javaniel Patterson, Linton Steadman, Trevor Simpson, and many others who have taken their talents to the international riding circuit.
“Thus far, I have settled in fairly well. What I can tell you is that it is very cold, but I am doing what I am supposed to do. Despite the new environment, plus the cold, it snows often, I am still getting into the saddle, as the racing year where I now am doesn’t get started until some time in May,” Edwards said.
“This is a major move for me, so I am doing all what it takes to get the job done. This is a new chapter in my professional life, and I am more than prepared to do the hard work,” he added.
