I am urging the Government of Jamaica to take immediate action to ban the wearing of ski masks in public spaces across the country.
These masks give cover to criminal elements and pose a significant threat to public safety and security.
Prohibiting the wearing of ski masks in public can help deter individuals from brazenly engaging in criminal activities such as robberies, assaults, shootings, etcetera.
This measure will enhance the safety and well-being of our citizens and visitors alike.
