Tifa’s Say Yes hits mainstream radio overseas
Dancehall artiste Tifa is about to join the big leagues as her latest single Say Yes, produced by Kemar ‘Flava’ McGregor, has been playlisted on several mainstream radio stations.
The song has made the playlist on the UK’s BBC Radio One and New York’s Hot 97 and Power 105 among others.
“I’m excited about this because this is a very big step for the song and myself on the international market! You’ll be hearing me all over North America! This is another step closer to my dream,” she disclosed.
She continues to receive attention in the mainstream American press. Her most recent feature was a review about Say Yes on the popular urban website allhiphop.com
Last week, Tifa was announced as one of the performers at the forthcoming staging of the Sashi Experience.
“Life has come full circle! My mother actually took me to the last two that were held when I was a kid as a back-to-school gift! So, to be performing now is surreal! It’s a joy and fans can expect a high energy,” Tifa stated in a media release.
This weekend, Tifa will take another step closer to the big times with a scheduled performance at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida.
She cites this as a major step in her quest to attract a new audience.
“Again! Monumental and surreal! It’s the first time there has been a full-out reggae dancehall party in the epic Hardrock Hotel featuring myself alongside The Visions Band with a live broadcast by The Voice of the Caribbean radio station in Florida,” Tifa shared.
