JMMB Joan Duncan Foundation partners with Kiwanians to empower adolescent mothers
JMMB Joan Duncan Foundation partnered with Kiwanis Club of Young Professionals Kingston, Jamaica to make a donation of $100,000 to Women’s Centre of Jamaica Foundation’s scholarship fund, in support of adolescent mothers at that institution. The occasion was a signature International Women’s Day event organised by the club recently, aimed at helping to empower and inspire the adolescent mothers by providing career development and mental health pointers.
The donation is a part of JMMB Joan Duncan Foundation’s mandate to support youth through educational development and vulnerable individuals. The foundation has donated over $10 million in scholarships in the last year to secondary and tertiary students.
