Congrats, Team Jamaica!

Dear Editor,

The West Indies Players’ Association (WIPA) warmly congratulates Jamaica’s women’s team on winning the 2024 CG United Women’s Super50 Cup and T20 Blaze titles.

The Women’s Super50 Cup tournament ran from March 4-13, 2024, and the T20 Blaze tournament ran from March 17-25, 2024 in St Kitts. Jamaica’s Women, ably led by Captain Stafanie Taylor, won four of five matches in the Super50 Cup and five of five matches in the T20 Blaze in a clear display of dominance over their counterparts.

WIPA commends Captain Stafanie Taylor and her charges for their consistency throughout both tournaments, and we wish the ladies continued success.

West Indies Women will begin their 2024 season with a three-match One-Day International and five-match T20 International series against Pakistan Women in Pakistan in April.
