MBCCI president describes recent expo as resounding success
ST JAMES, Jamaica – President of the Montego Bay Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MBCCI), Oral Heavens, has described the recent Expo put on by the Chamber at the Montego Bay Convention Centre as a resounding success.
Heaven revealed that the 125 exhibitors at this year’s trade exhibition were the most ever.
“It is said that we have 125 exhibitors…It is the first time in the history of the Montego Bay Chamber of Commerce and Industry Expo that we are having 125 exhibitors,” Heaven said.
In fact, an upbeat Heaven stated that in recent times, the events staged by the MBCCI have all been fully booked.
“This administration has now become a sold out administration. Our award banquet in December was sold out. This Expo is sold out. It means, therefore, that our directors, as leaders of the Montego Bay Chamber of Commerce and industry, are doing well,” he said.
He was speaking at the MBCCI’s Business Expo at the Montego Bay Convention Centre on Friday night.
The expo, which ran between March 22 -24, was under the theme “Future Forward: Shaping Tomorrow’s Business Today.”
