Scorpions push lead vs Hurricanes to 163 at lunch
KINGSTON, Jamaica – Jamaica Scorpions were 173-8 at lunch in their second innings of the fifth-round regional first-class match against Leeward Islands Hurricanes at Sabina Park.
After they trailed by 10 runs in the first innings, the Scorpions now hold a lead of 163 with two wickets in hand.
Scores: Scorpions 221 (68.2 ovs) and 173-8 (57 ovs); Hurricanes 231 (58.3 ovs).

For the visitors, pacer Jeremiah Louis and spinner Rahkeem Cornwall have taken three wickets each.
Earlier, the Scorpions resumed from their overnight score of 59-4 and lost wickets regularly to slump to 134-8.
But the 39-run, unbroken stand for the ninth wicket between Mansingh and Lewis took the hosts’ lead past the 150-run mark.
