#Champs2024: Class 3 boys’ ready to take on Thursday’s 400m final
KINGSTON, Jamaica – The eight competitors have been set to take on the final of the Class 3 boys’ 400m at the ISSA/GraceKennedy Boys’ and Girls’ Athletics Championships.
St Jago’s Rushaine Richards clocked 50.40, while Jamaica College’s (JC) Kyle Thompson recorded a time of 50.81 to book their spots from semi-final one.
Semi-final two went to JC’s Oneil Lawrence in 50.75, with Calabar High’s Diwayne Sharpe (51.73) finishing second. St Jago’s Raneil Burke (51.89) and Kingston College’s (KC) Roshane Howard (51.89) advanced based on time.
Rayvon Black of Denbigh High (50.76) and KC’s Jason Pitter (51.15) are the qualifiers from semi-final three.
The Class 3 boys’ 400m final will take place on Thursday at 7:32 pm.
