WATCH: Man hospitalised after fiery crash near May Pen toll plaza

A man was taken to hospital with what appeared to be serious burns after a fiery crash near the May Pen toll plaza Monday morning.

The circumstances that led to the incident are still unclear, but Observer Online understands that sometime after 6am a vehicle crashed into a railing along the highway and then burst into flames.

A video taken in the immediate aftermath of the crash shows a man with what appeared to be serious burns entering the back of a pickup to be transported to hospital.

It is understood that two other persons suffered injuries in the fiery crash.
