Dr Sandoval was the guest presenter at a function hosted by Bayer on February 29 at the Jamaica Pegasus to launch Finerenone, a drug which has been shown to delay the progression of kidney damage in patients with type 2 diabetes. Chronic kidney disease is one of the leading causes of morbidity and mortality in Jamaica.
