MoBay City Run renamed in honour of Jill Stewart

ST JAMES, Jamaica— The MoBay City Run has been renamed in honour of Jill Stewart.

The event has been renamed the Jill Stewart MoBay City Run in honour of Executive Chairman of Sandals Resorts International, Adam Stewart’s late wife Jill, who was one of its biggest supporters.

The announcement was made during the launch of the event in Montego Bay, St James Wednesday morning.

“It’s the least we could do to honour her memory,” Janet Silvera, chair of MoBay City Run, told Observer Online shortly after the launch.

Jill Stewart died last July after a valiant year-long battle with cancer.
