Speaking with Observer Online on Wednesday, principal of the school Clayton Smith said the Ministry of Education advised them to use the online modality until Monday.
“For the rest of the week, we will be online. We are hoping that normalcy will return,” Clayton said.
On Tuesday, parents scampered to pick up their children mere minutes after an alleged threat on the school.
More than 700 students were impacted.
The headmaster said in mere minutes the school’s population decreased as anxious parents secured their wards.
The security forces are said to have escorted the remaining students from the school’s compound.
The school recently ended its 100th anniversary celebrations in March.
