Dexta Daps, Sevana to serenade audience at Reggae Sumfest
KINGSTON, Jamaica – Fresh off the local leg of his Trilogy tour, dancehall crooner Dexta Daps is set to take his arsenal of ‘girl tunes’ to the Reggae Sumfest stage.
Having been booked for Night One of the weeks-long festival, the Call Me If singer is expected to sweep the ladies off their feet inside Catherine Hall in St James on Friday, July 19.
Serenading his female audience is his modus operandi so come July 19, the women are in for quite the treat. The entertainer is sure to showcase a captivating performance as unforgettable as his previous showings.
But while Daps’ style and catalogue may cater mainly to his female fan base, with songs such as Leader, Shabba Mada Pot and Grow Rough, the artiste is sure to turn in a set the men can also appreciate.
Daps now joins the likes of Aidonia, Jada Kingdom, 450, Capleton and Valiant on what has become known as Dancehall Night. Also added to the Sumfest lineup is songbird Sevana.
Night Two just got a little sweeter with the addition of the ‘Mango’ singer. The entertainer is scheduled to perform on Saturday, July 20 alongside the likes of Nigy Boy, Beres Hammond, Luciano and Ras-I.
