Paradise Princess
Calling all ‘bouje’ carnival babes, for Carnival 2024, it’s #PrincessTreatment only.
This year, the dolls are not saving the bedazzled monokinis and headpieces for Carnival Sunday. Instead, they’re hitting all the pre-carnival fêtes in costume like Instagrammable looks.
And the team over at Salon Bouje, has contributed to changing the dial. The just-dropped Paradise Collection — conceptualised by owner Kay Smith and brought to life by the skilled hands of Jamaican designer Jhanna Patterson — is an exclusive line of monokinis designed for the spirited festivities of Jamaica’s carnival season.
Crafted in vivid colours and cut in silhouettes designed to flatter and empower, each piece is a tribute to vibrant culture and pulsating energy of Jamaica.
The exquisite beadwork of the Nala has already found favour with masqueraders, and the Zuri promises to be the go-to for soca fêtes, poolside soirées, beach parties, and tropical getaways.
