Hanover man charged after allegedly stabbing man during fight
HANOVER, Jamaica— A man who has been accused of stabbing another man during an altercation at his home on Thursday, March 7, has been arrested and charged.
He is 19-year-old Moses James of Orchard Housing Scheme in Hopewell, Hanover. James is charged with wounding with intent.
Reports from the Lucea police are that about 9:50am, James and a man had an argument which developed into a fight. James then used a ratchet knife to stab the man in his upper body.
The police were summoned and the injured man was assisted to hospital where he was admitted in a stable but serious condition.
James was arrested, and later charged on Saturday, March 9, the police said.
His court date is being finalised.
